After the omnipresent AJAX, one of the key-point of last year was for sure the Video.
As documented in this and also in this category we looked to an incredible explosion of services that offer something that some time ago was a mirage for a few people: free space and bandwidth needed to offer films that are, you know, at least 10 MB size weight.
This helps the diffusion of videoblogs, web tv and short movies, and first of all that way of communication called “viral” that interests ads and that curious or funny videos that have as patriarch the Star Wars Kid and continue to travel from home to home and from office to office.

New macro-section dedicated to XML, the markup language that in 2005 confirms itself as a fundamental for the creation of web applications (see the solid use of XMLHttp Request) with some of its sons like RSS (the born of i Google Homepage, MyYahoo, IE 7 with RSS support and ten of new feed readers in circulation and SVG (native plugin in Opera, Firefox and -soon- Safari).

250 rates logoThis is the fourth episode of Central Scrutinizer 250 rates collection, the re-order of all the resources suggested in 2005.

After the section “Web design”, we start today with the “Graphic Design”, that kind of visual communication that grow from century to century on the paper but that on web doesn’t stop to dictate his rules for the construction of a visually effective “digital page” .
We’ll see so two fundamental (also for Web Design) categories as “Typography” and the “Colors”, and then a category dedicated to a series of “Grafical Projects” born for the print but advanced again in an online version that conserve the original beauty.
